I’m Iram Ali, a Brooklyn-based digital cinematographer passionate about visual storytelling as an art form and a language. I handle each project comprehensively, immersing myself from the initial idea and detailed planning to shooting and editing. To me, each frame is purposeful, and every choice influences the story’s emotional depth. I vividly recall my first client project; seeing that idea develop into a complete film confirmed my commitment to storytelling through intentional and careful visuals.

 

I work on brand-centric commercial campaigns, crafting stories using composition, movement, and light. Whether capturing scenes on set or enhancing the story in post-production, my aim is to produce visuals that are authentic, immersive, and resonate with the people behind the brand.

 

Editing is the stage where the story fully comes to life. I love this part of the process—when fragments coalesce into rhythm and images start to communicate. With tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop, I meticulously refine every detail, blending technical accuracy with emotional depth. As a result, the final piece connects profoundly with viewers.

 

All video work in my portfolio was shot with the Sony FX6, while still photography was taken with the Canon EOS Rebel T6. In addition to cinematography and photography, I provide coverage for personal and professional events, create curated photo albums, produce special event edits, and offer personalized visual projects upon request.
