Iram Ali Cinematographer
About
I’m Iram Ali, a Brooklyn-based digital cinematographer drawn to visual storytelling as both a craft and a language. I approach every project holistically, engaging fully in each stage of the process—from the first spark of an idea and careful planning to shooting and the final edit. For me, every frame carries intention, and every decision shapes the story’s emotional core. I still remember my first client project; watching that idea transform into a finished film affirmed my dedication to storytelling through deliberate, thoughtful visuals.
I collaborate on brand-focused commercial campaigns, shaping narratives through composition, movement, and light. Whether capturing moments on set or refining the story in post-production, my goal remains the same: to create visuals that feel honest, immersive, and connected to the people behind the brand.
Editing is where the story truly reveals itself. It is my favorite part of the process—the moment when fragments become rhythm and images begin to speak. Using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop, I refine each detail with care, balancing technical precision with emotional clarity. Hence, the final work resonates deeply with its audience.
All video work featured in my portfolio was filmed with the Sony FX6, while still photography was captured using the Canon EOS Rebel T6. Alongside cinematography and photography, I offer coverage for personal and professional events, curated photo albums, special event edits, and personalized visual work upon request.
